The North Country EB5 Regional Center is a federally sponsored program overseen by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service that provides a way for foreign investors to obtain permanent residency in the United States.
By investing a minimum of $500,000 in a public or private project that creates or preserves at least 10 full-time permanent jobs for U.S. workers, qualifying foreign investors and their families can obtain temporary 2-year green cards.
If the investment is maintained and achieves the job requirements for the EB5 Visa Program, permanent green cards are issued.
EB5 visa holders enjoy all the benefits and advantages of U.S. residency during the two-year conditional period, including no employment authorization to accept employment, and can eventually apply for U.S. citizenship.
Qualifying investment opportunities include:
- Transportation and Aerospace
- Real Estate Development
- Manufacturing and Trade
Investment projects offered by the North Country EB5 Regional Center will be associated with reputable businesses, each with strong financial standing, and well-positioned and fully committed to meet USCIS standards with respect to job creation requirements.
